When supplying fittings, we strive to offer future-proof light sources. LED technology is a rapidly changing technology, with various new fads and gimmicks coming and going over the years. It is therefore a priority of ours to select only the most tried and tested and well established lamp types that customers can rely on long into the future.

The vast majority of the light sources supplied with our fittings are user replaceable. This means that we typically use only highly popular and widely adopted lamp sizes such as GU10 or R7s. These sizes have been in existence for decades and there are a vast number of replacement lamps available in the event of any fault.

Customers often find that when buying from competitors who use lower cost proprietary LED light sources, that problems are encountered when a single fitting develops a fault, requiring a replacement lamp which is non user replaceable and may no longer be available at all.

Our policy to supply future-proof sources therefore inspires confidence that there will be no future issues keeping all lights used in a project consistent in terms of brightness, colour and spread - even several years down the line.

Most of our fittings are supplied with LED lamps. After many years of experience with LED technology, we are convinced that only the highest quality components should be used. That's why we supply premium lamps from manufacturers such as Philips and Osram. The quality of these components can be felt in their weight, as unlike cheaper lamps, ceramic is used for optimal heat dissipation which leads to extremely low failure rates.
