Conversion Services

We offer a range of conversion services for those looking to have old light fittings from other manufacturers brought up to modern standards or to fit additional electronic controls.

Services include:
Emergency Lighting Conversions - Emergency packs are designed to illuminate even when mains power is lost, enabling occupants to escape in the event of an emergency which could cause a power cut, such as a fire.  We use high quality components, which include a controller, additional LED, and rechargeable battery pack.  These are designed to provide emergency illumination for 3 hours.

Proximity Sensor Conversions - Proximity sensors allow motion (e.g. walking into a room) to trigger the light fitting to turn on.  This contributes to energy saving by ensuring the light is switched off when no-one is in the room.  As an added benefit, the sensors we use can also optionally be configured to only trigger when natural daylight is low (so lights do not illuminate during the day).

DALI Conversions - DALI is the name for a popular lighting control protocol that allows lights to be individually addressed and controlled via a central controller.  This allows complex lighting control, enabling different lighting "scenes" to be preset. - By doing so, the individual off/on state and dimming level (if applicable) can be set and assigned to each light for any given preset scene. 

LED Conversions - For lights fitted with older filament style bulbs, we are able to convert these to use modern high performance LEDs, providing a host of benefits,  including a huge improvement to energy efficiency, the removal for the need of routine replacement of lamps and the enhancement of light quality. 

HOW TO BUY

1. Purchase one of our conversion services (add one to cart for each light you would like converted).
2. We will contact you to discuss the specifics of the conversion.  
3. We will provide you with a form to print off and send in with the lights you require the conversion to be carried out on.
4. After completing the conversion, we will post the light fitting back to your shipping address via next day courier (for UK orders).
